MARIANA RYZHKINA - Biografía



In 1989, graduating from the Moscow Academic Choreography College (Elena Ryabinkina’s class) Marianna joined the Bolshoi Theatre ballet troupe.
The winner of the International Serg Lifar Competition of Ballet Artists in Kiev, of the International competition of ballet artists in Osaka (Japan), in 1998 she took part in the International J. Gershvin Festival in Perelada (Spain), the laureate of Etoiles internationales de la Danse (Paris, 2002). She also participated in the mounting of ballet "Antigona " (S. Bobrov’s choreography) during the International Arts Festival in ?eride (Spain, 1997). She was invited to and participated as a guest dancer in several Gala concerts and performances of Arlington ballet troupe (Texas, USA), where she performed one of her latest premieres - ballet " Carmen-suite " the choreography by Alonso in M. Plisetskaya’s reduction and " Fading of a Rose " by R. Petit.
Marianna got her education at the Ballet Staging Faculty of Moscow State Choreography Institute. At the Bolshoi Theatre she worked with the remarkable choreographer-rehearser, People’s Artist of the USSR Raisa Stepanovna Struchkova, now the ballerina works under the guidance of another Credited Artist of the USSR Ekaterina Maksimova. With the Bolshoi Theatre troupe she has been on tours of America, Japan, England, Italy, Spain, Austria, Germany, Brazil, Australia, Egypt, Hong Kong, Singapore, Malaysia, Greece, the Bermuda Islands etc.
Marianna is mother of two charming sons 11 and 5 years old.
