BIOGRAFIA

Jurgita Dronina was born in Russia and came to Lithuania when she was four years old. She began her ballet training at ten studying for Jolanta Vymeryte at the Vilnius National Art Academy. In 2004/2005 she was training with the Munich Ballet Academy for Konstanze Vernon. She has participated succesfully in many international ballet competitions. In 2005 she joined the Royal Swedish Ballet in Stockholm. After dancing soloist roles the 20 year old Jurgita made a succesful debut as Nikiya in La Bayadere with the Royal Swedish Ballet in September 2006. In 2007 she made debut as Juliet in MacMillan's Romeo and Juliet
