IRMA NIORADZE - Biografía
BIOGRAFIA
Irma Nioradze was born in Tbilisi (Georgia). She graduated from Tbilisi School of Ballet and then studied at the Vaganova Ballet Academy (class Prof. Tatiana Udalenkova). In 1988 she joined the Tbilisi Opera and Ballet Theatre, and then in 1992 she joined the Mariinsky Theatre, where she became principal in 1992.
Repertoire includes:
The Sleeping Beauty (La Fee de Lilac/ Princess Aurora), Swan Lake (Odette-Odile), Le Corsaire (Medora), La Bayadere (Nikia, Gamzatti), Raymonda (Raymonda), The Fountain of Bakhchisarai (Zarema), Don Quixote (Kitri), Giselle (Giselle), "Paquita" Grand pas (Soloist), Sheherazade (Zobeide), Firebird (Firebird), The Legend of Love (Mekhmeneh Bahnu), Symphony in C (1st movement), Jewels (Rubies), Roland Petit`s Carmen (Carmen), Poeme de l`Extase, Le Baiser de la Fee (La Fee), Manon (Manon).

• Won the Baltika prize (2000).
Born in Tbilisi (Georgia).
Graduated from the Tbilisi School of Ballet, trained at the Vaganova Ballet Academy (class of Professor Lyudmila Safronova).
Joined the Tbilisi Opera and Ballet Theatre in 1988.
With the Mariinsky Theatre since 1992. Principal since 1992.
