CLAIREMARIE OSTA

Clairemarie Osta was born in 1970. She began her ballet studies in Nice and later entered the Paris Opéra Ballet School. She joined the Paris Opéra Ballet in 1988. In 1994 she won a bronze medal at international ballet competition in Varna. She was promoted to principal (première danseuse) in 1999 and to étoile in December 2002.

Repertoire includes:
Coppelia, Don Quixote, Sleeping Beauty, Nutcracker, La Bayadère, Notre-Dame de Paris, L’Arlésienne, A Midsummer Night's Dream, Clavigo, Giselle and Paquita.
