BIOGRAPHY
Olga Ovchinnikova was born in 1980 in St. Petersburg. She studied at the Vaganova Academy in St. Petersburg, where she in graduated in 1998 in the class of Tatiana Udalenkova. From 1998 to 2001 she worked in the Askold Makarov Academy Theatre of St. Petersburg. After that she worked one year overseas before she in October 2002 joined the Konstantin Tachkin Ballet Theatre of St. Petersburg.
Her repertoire includes Pas de Trois of small swans in Swan Lake, pas de deux, Myrtha and Giselle in Giselle, three fairies and the Cat in Sleeping Beauty, Amor and the forth act variation in Don Quixote, Clara in The Nutcracker, Gamzatti, the first varation and the trio of Shades in La Bayadere.
