BIOGRAFIA

Elena Evteyeva was born in Leningrad in 1947. She studied at the Vaganova School in St. Petersburg (pupil of L. Tyuntina). Graduated and joined the Mariinsky Ballet in 1966. She danced all the leading roles in the classical repertoire. Retired in 1993. She is now teaching at the Mariinsky.

Awards:
Silver Medal at the Varna International Ballet Competition in 1970.
