CORINA DUMITRESCU

Bucharest National Opera



Corina Dumitrescu was born in 1970 in Bucharest. She graduated from the Ballet High School of Bucharest in 1988, and from the University of Theatre and Film in 1994, with a degree in ballet pedagogy. A member of the Bucharest Opera ballet company since 1988 and promoted to principal dancer in 1992. She is also a resident guest artist of the Ballet Theatre in Belgrade, Yugoslavia, since 1997. Corina Dumitrescu has toured and guested in Germany, Holland, France, Spain, England, Yugoslavia, Panama, Italy, South Korea.
