Estonian National Ballet
Marina Chirkova was born in 1970 in St. Petersburg. She graduated from the Vaganova Academy in 1988 and joined the Mariinsky Theatre. From December 1996 to January 1997 she toured with Vladimir Arhangelski in Germany and Switzerland, performing the leading roles in Swan Lake and Nutcracker. Marina Chirkova and Vladimir Arhangelski have danced together in many countries: Great Britain, Denmark, Italy, Spain, Israel, USA, Canada, Korea, France, Japan, Norway, Brasilia, Argentina etc. Since January 1999 she is the leading dancer in the Estonian National Opera Ballet.
